I’m getting revved up for warm weather Estonian bouldering again and thought I’d use the opportunity to test out our new Gallery feature. Here are just a few of my favorite Estonian boulders.
hey, im heading over to the baltic states in september this year. im hoping to do abit of bouldering whilst i’m over there. Do you know of any guide books to the area? the erratic boulders of estonia look ace!
Toby, I’d love to point you toward a good book but there is nothing yet to offer. Someday I might be able to point you to a section of this site but for now, check out this site: http://climbestonia.pbwiki.com/. Good info and pictures. Ought to help you out. Also, if you happen to be as far east as Rakvere, stop by Ehalkivi just NE of the seaside town of Kunda. This is by far the best rock in Estonia in my opinion. Great variety and rock quality and fantastic height. Good luck.
Back in the Saddle - Sorry for the recent downtime folks. I upgraded our server and came across a whole set of problems because of the move. Looks like everything is back up and running though. Missing a few plugins but we'll have them back up shortly.
Bilingual Experiments - I've been doing some looking around to see if there is a way to make this site bilingual. I'd like to post sermons and other material here in both English and Estonian. If you are an Estonian speaker, hold tight for the moment and keep checking in on my progress.
In Transition - Just a heads up.Our site design is in flux as we try to land on a more flexible solution. Please bear with us. All the same ol' info can be found here. It may just look a little different. I'll get around to finalizing things in April.
Ordination Update - Oct 28, 2006 - I have two very encouraging bits of news to share:
At the end of September, I was approved by the Presbytery of the Inland Northwest to move to the candidacy phase of ordination in the PC(USA).
I just received word a few days ago that I passed all four of my ordination exams on the first try. This is a major blow for freedom and will allow me to focus in on completing my studies at Regent in anticipation of graduation in April.
Thanks for your support and prayers!
